Job description:
UST is conducting an interview for the post of Associate I – Semiconductor Product Validation.
Job duties and responsibilities:
You will be part of a team engaged in the validation of BIOS/FW for server/client PC products. You will be working in a lab located at a UST facility in Bangalore. Your job responsibilities include but not limited to
- Understand the FW features and the test cases to validate them
- Execution of test cases, provide the test results and report defects
- Prepare test systems by assembling the required hardware, flashing FW and installing OS
- Perform pre-silicon test execution in simulation environment
- Perform bug reproduction and fix verification
- Work closely with Customer team in achieving the deliverables
- Publish daily and weekly status reports
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics/ computer engineering or related discipline
- Knowledge of PC client hardware and software components
- Good knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a PC Client system
- Ability to understand BIOS/FW/product features and execute the test cases
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teams
- Python programming knowledge is a plus
