Job description:

Keysight is hiring a Entry Level Solutions Engineers.

Selected candidates will go through a rigorous training process that enables the transformation of an individual from a student to a thoroughbred professional culminating into a pre-sales Solution Engineering Expert or a thorough technical Sales Professional.

Technical Sales (Field Account Engineer):

Entails induction into concepts of Sales stages including Suspect, Prospect, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation and Order. Candidate will be emersed into sales Funnel build up. The art of Sales Forecasting. Addressing bids for Industry and Government customers across off-line quotes and on-line portals. Building complex techno-commercial proposals including product configurations. Candidate will be introduced and trained on techniques like Probing Skills, challenger sales, Major Account management, Negotiations and more.

Over time, the candidate will carry Sales Quota / Target and will independently support build-up of sales funnel, unearth customer real requirement through an analysis of the problem statement, be a Consultant to customer recommending the best fit solution and practice customer advocacy to delight, retain and grow Keysight’ relationship.

Pre-Sales Technical Expert (Solutions Engineer):

Successful professionals in the emerging tech sector often start their careers building upon and strengthening a solid technology base. With today’s technology proliferation into every aspect of life, professionals cannot be disconnected from the plethora of exploding technologies like 5G and early 6G, Quantum electronics, communications or computing, Autonomous driving, Software Defined Vehicles, e-mobility, green energy, integrated healthcare, AI, ML, Digital twins and the works.

Selected candidate will gain exposure into many of these technologies with a leader inventor Keysight. And will graduate over time to deep dive into selected ones while building subject matter Expertise through the guidance and mentorship of his/her buddies and team lead.

Qualifications and experience required:

The candidate should understand the basics / fundamentals of technology and their real-world applications in at least two or more of these areas,

  • Mobile or Wireless Communications, including 4G, 5G, WiFi, WLAN, BT
  • Wireline Communications and Networks including components like n/w switch, routers, firewall
  • Cybersecurity, network Visibility, Datacenter operations, Cloud native, Container Kubernetes, VM
  • High speed digital interfaces like USB, PCIe, DDR Memory, Optical interface and communications
  • Concepts of quantum engineering, and applications in Sensing, Communication, Computing
  • Fundamentals of RF, uWave & SatCom, including applications in UAV, drones, guided systems
  • E-mobility and the principles of electric vehicle, benefits over internal combustion engine
  • IoT and its applications into Healthcare, Industrial automation, consumer goods

It is essential for candidate to have strong software scripting knowledge on Python, C++, C#, with automation use cases. Strong data structure and algorithm knowledge, RDBMS, OOPs. Project experience using Solidworks, Fusion 360, Use case experience with HTML, CSS, Javascripts, React JS is desirable.

Candidate will be comfortable conducting product demonstrations with customers, building presentations and presenting to customer groups, interact with Keysight product divisions, build solution configurations to match customer needs, analyse system acquired data, debug and root cause issues in customer environment.

Qualifications required:

B.E. or B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science with CGPA of >8/10
