Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is hiring a Service Intern in New Delhi.
The Service Intern at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a crucial role in providing technical service support to customers within their designated area and associated territories.
As part of the Service Interns Program, this role entails undergoing focused trainings and fulfilling specific deliverables during the initial 3-6 months. Following completion of product trainings, interns will be assigned specific Install Base (IB) to work on. The allocation of actual IB and Territories will be determined later after evaluating the intern’s readiness across various modalities covered during the training.
Reporting to the Zonal Managers of their respective locations, the Service Intern will be an integral member of the Service Interns Group. Job duties and responsibilities:
- Install and maintain instruments and systems in laboratory settings.
- Deliver basic operational training during installations.
- Provide effective product and customer support.
- Ensure timely execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Modification (MOD’s) planning.
- Seek prompt assistance for challenging product issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of activities.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships, particularly with directly assigned accounts.
- Adhere to field service policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage recommended spare parts inventory for the assigned product range.
Extended requirements:
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate issues and propose solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Exhibit proficiency in establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
Essential qualifications:
- Graduation in Electrical, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering (Any subject with electrical and electronics in the curriculum).
- 0-2 years of experience in maintenance and service of medical or analytical instrumentation. Exposure to In-Vitro Diagnostics Equipment such as Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, or Immunoassay analyzers is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel within or outside the territory at short notice.
Desirable experience:
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector (hospitals, laboratories, manufacturing, etc.).
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with various functions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and general computer skills.
