Job description:

Flowserve is conducting an interview for the post of Applications Engineer.

The Commercial Operations Engineer Associate plays a vital role in supporting the quote activity for various valve products for Projects and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations). This position involves providing technical assistance, pricing, and logistics information to both the sales team and customers. Additionally, the associate collaborates with the commercial team to develop and execute effective commercial strategies.

Position responsibilities:

  1. Offer technical support to sales and customers regarding valve products and their applications.
  2. Develop and maintain valve pricing and logistics information.
  3. Assist in preparing quotes and proposals.
  4. Work closely with the commercial team to devise and implement commercial strategies.
  5. Review customer specifications and documents, ensuring compliance with current Flowserve technical and commercial requirements.
  6. Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a focus on Mechanical or Instrumentation & Control, with a minimum CGPA of 7. (All subjects cleared in the first attempt) – Freshers
  2. Strong technical knowledge in core subjects such as Fluid Mechanics, Metallurgy, Thermodynamics, Electrical and Electronic Measurements, Control Systems, and Process Control Transducers, Mechanical Measurement, and Industrial Instrumentation.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
