Job description:
Emerson is conducting an interview for the post of BOM Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Create, configure and maintain product EBOM and MBOM structures in Oracle and
Teamcenter (TC) based on engineering, product planning, and manufacturing requirements. - Create and configure master EBOM from CAD structures. Use TC Configurator to generate specific product BOM’s necessary for release of all product SKU’s to Oracle.
- Working on Engineering & Manufacturing Bill of Material of a product on Team Center & Oracle
- Interpret intent on Engineering Change Notices, and change requested to determine the appropriate structure/content of eBOMs & mBOMs based on inputs.
- Maintaining & Creating E-BOM & M-BOM in Team Center & Oracle
- Working on Oracle BOM Changes through ECN
- Review the TeaCenter Structure Manager and Oracle BOM work
- Support workflow processes to create item master records from CAD objects
Qualification required:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferable) / B.E. Mechanical
- Diploma Mechanical
- Good Understanding of Teamcenter Structure Manager, Oracle & Engineering change management process.
- Excellent understanding of Engineering Bill of Materials
- Detail oriented and ability to maintain data effectively & accurately
- Good communication skills are desirable
- Strong Interpersonal skills & team working
- A willingness to learn is critical
