ABB is conducting an interview for the post of Diploma Trainee.
Job duties and responsibilities:
You will be working as Diploma Trainee and will be part of Motion Business Area for Service Division based in Jamshedpur, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Team Leader and will be responsible in executing service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers. Working in close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, taking actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.
- Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reporting unsafe practices and incidents. Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation
- Clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility. Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experiences.
- Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform
- Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities
- Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative. Utilizing all relevant tools and reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed
- Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Identifying improvement needs in the way of working and communicates them proactively
- Proactively executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and on quality
Qualifications and experience required:
- Diploma in Electrical or Electronics
- Fresher of less the one year of experience I relevant field
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
