Job description:

Synopsys is looking for an excellent software engineer for highly technical software product which helps their customers design, fabricate, and validate cutting edge VLSI chips.

Software that we write helps Synopsys’s customer detect manufacturing defects. This is a very crucial aspect for making sure only the best ICs goes to devices. Synopsys’s software is used by most of the big design houses. It’s a challenging domain where we regularly handle billion gate design, and we create optimized test vectors for testing the cutting edge VLSI chips that drives AI/Mobile/Automated-Cars etc.

Requirements:

Candidate should be a problem solver and open to accepting challenging tasks which would require programming, testing, and coordinating with multiple other engineers in the team. Also expected to learn fast from documents and existing source code and find ways to integrate new ideas and improve existing algorithms. Should write high quality software and always strive to improve existing software quality. As we work in a global organization, candidate is expected to have good communication skills (English is must) and should be open to interact with colleagues across different continents and time zones.
