Job description:
Qualcomm is conducting an interview for the post of System Engineers.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Utilizes systems knowledge to aid and facilitate the research, design, development, simulation, and/or validation of systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions, ensuring adherence to system-level requirements and standards.
- Supports functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications, and establishes and aligns standards for both hardware and software.
- Assists in the analysis and development of system-level designs, encompassing requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and the implementation of new systems or modifications to existing ones.
- Collaborates with team members to accomplish project objectives, including feature implementation, testing, and validation to ensure system accuracy.
- Generates novel ideas or approaches to problem-solving.
- Aids in the troubleshooting of system-level issues to identify root causes, and communicates testing and debugging outcomes to team members.
Level of responsibilities:
- Operates under supervision, with decision-making impacting immediate work area or group.
- Utilizes verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.
- Tasks involve multiple steps, which can be executed in different sequences; effective completion requires planning, problem-solving, and prioritization.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred qualifications:
1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
