Job description:
Kroll is conducting an internship for Engineers in Mumbai.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Security Architecture and Testing department, providing support in day-to-day activities and tasks.
- Assist in coordinating requirements gathering and scheduling of penetration tests.
- Track and update penetration test findings in the designated trackers.
- Prepare and deliver reports on the test findings to both business and technical teams via email communications.
- Actively participate in weekly team and vendor meetings to discuss progress and address any emerging issues.
- Interpret penetration test findings and translate them into layman’s terms for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring common understanding. Additionally, document findings when necessary for presentation purposes.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s or equivalent degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and operating systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including encryption, firewalls, and access control mechanisms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying security gaps, issues, and vulnerabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering open communication and cooperation.
- Commitment to ethical behavior and the preservation of data confidentiality and integrity.
- Eagerness to stay informed about the latest cyber threats and technologies, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Available for full-time internship, whether in-office or remote.
