Job description:
SPX Flow is hiring for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
This opportunity offers high-potential engineering graduates a chance to build a career in the high-performing SPX FLOW Nutrient and Health (N&H) equipment industry. Over an 18-month period, Engineering Graduates will rotate through various engineering departments, including Design, Analysis, Compliance, Order Engineering, NPD, and testing.
Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will:

- Gain exposure to the New Product Development (NPD) processes and state-of-the-art N&H equipment testing facilities.
- Work on component design and development projects for Valves, Homogenizers, Scrap Surface Heat Exchangers, and Pumps.
- Engage in CFD and FEM-based engineering analysis projects.
- Participate in various product engineering activities, including order engineering, sustainability initiatives, value analysis/value engineering (VAVE), NPD, and testing.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The Graduate Engineer Trainee is responsible for:
- Passionately solving technical problems through innovation and engineering best practices.
- Actively participating in engineering activities such as Order Engineering, New Product Development, Sustain initiatives, and VAVE projects.
- Understanding project requirements and completing assigned duties.
- Shadowing senior team members, asking questions, and providing assistance.
- Acquiring deep knowledge of processes and technical aspects during departmental rotations.
- Diligently participating in meetings, initiatives, trainings, and workshops.
- Gaining expertise in SPX N&H Products like Valves, SSHE, Homogenizers, and Pumps.
- Assisting in the design, development, analysis, and testing of new N&HS equipment products.
Skills required:
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic theoretical understanding of components like Valves, Heat Exchangers, and Pumps.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks within a matrix environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across functions and geographic locations.
- Proactive initiative and ability to work independently.
- High performance standards while maintaining ethics and integrity.
- Passion for continuous learning.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
Qualifications and experience required:
- M. Tech in Thermal/Heat Power/Mechanical Design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with CAD/CAE software is beneficial.
