Amardeep Design is conducting an interview for the post of Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities. The candidate will be constantly tackling new product development and customised designs. The candidate must be willing to shift to Mumbai.
Essential responsibilities:
- Draw, update, and maintain designs
- Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), Order Scheduling and creating Detailed drawings
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer requirements
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
- Rendering and 3D Modelling of Products.
- Working on customised product development while considering manufacturing capabilities of the company
- Preparation of manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions and process mapping
- Development of New Parts/Accessories for the Vendors.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- AutoCAD experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks (Great if candidate knows Creo)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
