Job description:
HELLA is conducting an interview for the post of Drafting Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As a Drafting Engineer- T&C, you are responsible for Terminals and connectors design & development including drafting activities for both In-house / purchased parts from supplier for all the global projects.
- Creation and releasing the drawings of a single part / assembly in CATIA.
- Involved in the development of Terminals & Connectors for inhouse / purchased parts.
- Creation of 3D modeling, connector electrification for wires harness routing.
- Effective handling of Engineering Change Management.
- Supporting / working with Bill of Materials for the respective projects.
- Integration with Product Data Management.
- Involved in effective discussion / supporting with multi-disciplinary team.
- Interact with global Connector supplier for any changes in existing part / new procurement.
- Understanding customer specific requirements.
- Understanding and interpretation of critical characteristics (SC’s).
- To discuss with Global key users related to task / project requirements.
- Develop constructive solutions and suggestions for improvement and documenting Lessons learned in the projects.
Soft skills required:
- Proficiency in English language (Oral & written)
- Good Communication skills
- Team player and a Quick learner
Qualifications and experience required:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 1 Year of experience / Fresher.
- Basics knowledge in Plastic / Sheetmetal drawing (2D).
- Basic knowledge in GD&T and applications.
- Knowledge in MS office tools like Power Point, Excel.
- Knowledge in the field of design and development of plastic parts with assembly and its manufacturability is an added advantage.
