Job description:
GE Digital is conducting an interview for the post of Software Specialist.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Provides expertise in sustained customer success and growth in the post-sales customer lifecycle through training, professional services, technical support, renewals, outcome attainment, retention, expansion, and customer advocacy with a Digital focus. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
- Modelling of Power System Network for EMS systems
- Installation, Configuration and Tuning and FAT of Power System Applications e.g. State Estimation, Contingency Analysis, Security Enhancement, Short Circuit Analysis, Volt Var Dispatch, Power Flow, Optimal Power Flow etc.
- Site Commissioning and SAT of the PSA applications
- Support to the M&S team for PSA applications
Qualifications and Experience required:
- This role requires basic experience in the Services & Digital Implementation Services.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Power System Engineering with 0 to 1 years of experience.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
