Job description:
BOBST is conducting an interview for the post of Junior Standardization Specialist.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Support the SPM Team in the creation and maintenance of the technical database
- Ensure a high level of quality on all creation and maintenance tasks
- Provide deliverables in a timely manner, according to priorities Main Tasks
- Creation and modification of Bobst internal datasheets
- Keeping the manufacturers’ datasheets up to date
- Management and feedback on the requested jobs via the SharePoint lists of requests
- Supporting the SPM Team with tasks dedicated to the classification of standard materials
- Interaction with R&Ds, purchasing departments and suppliers
- Collaboration with SPM team in Switzerland
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Diploma / Degree in electrical or electronics engineering
- Good technical level on electrical/electronical commercial parts
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Teams, MS Excel is mandatory
- Ability to use an ERP software, SAP is recommended
- Communication written and verbal: English mandatory, French is an asset
Critical Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Good technical knowledge of the standard materials: electrics is mandatory, electronics is highly recommended, mechanics/fluidics is a plus
- Ability to read technical datasheets, find required information and keep essential data
- Ability to get information, documentation and 3D models on manufacturers websites
- Feel comfortable contacting directly manufacturers / suppliers and worldwide R&D to get the required technical data / validation
- Autonomous in daily business, positive team spirit in service life
- Takes ownership and responsibility
- Ease to lead technical meetings, make presentations and write reports
- Methodical, conscientious and disciplined
