Synopsys is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As Applications Engineer (Intern), your responsibilities will include:
- Development and qualification of Synopsys tool, IC Validator’s DRC/LVS/Fill runsets (decks) for cutting edge technologies and leading foundries.
- At times, you may also be involved in automation activities associated with runset development flows.
Please note: This is a 12 month internship position.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- B.Tech/M.Tech/MS degree in Electronics/VLSI domain
- Understanding and exposure to transistor CMOS layouts
- Proficient with Perl/Tcl, Unix, HDL (Verilog/VHDL)
- Strong understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and/or CAD engineering
- Knowledge of EDA tool products like Calibre/Assura/Quartz
- Product knowledge in any of the following areas is desirable:
- Writing foundry decks ( DRC/LVS/ERC/DFM ),
- Solving LVS issues,
- Knowledge of foundry processes
- Understanding of cutting edge DFM requirements)
