Job description:
Eaton is conducting an interview for the post of Trainee.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- The principal role of Intern Engineer is to evaluate Supplier quality issues reported by Eaton Plants.
- Identify the gaps in supplier process trough analysis , communicate back to supplier & take follow up for correction.
Essential responsibilities:
- Evaluate supplier manufacturing process against Engineering drawing and specifications.
- Identify, investigate, and Resolve Supplier Technical and/or System issues related to product or process realization to have effective process.
- Implement measures to improve process efficiency to achieve business expectations
- Trouble shoot in coordination with global stake holders, supplier and plant Quality team
- Understand customer requirements and provide customer centric solutions.
Qualifications required:
Education:
B.E. / B. Tech. (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical , Production & Industrial Engineering)
Technical knowledge:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Electrical & Electronics / Sheet Metal / Molding / Casting / Machining is preferred as per sequence.
- Engineer should possess the thorough knowledge of Statistical tools and capability analysis
Soft skills required:
- Good communication skills – Must speak and write English fluently.
- Good collaboration skill.
- Ability to engage with a variety of cross-functional team members.
- Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required.
- Self-directing and self-motivating
