Job description:
Gartner is conducting an interview for the post of Associate Software Engineer.
About this role:
Software Development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of Java/JEE based web applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting JEE based applications and services
- Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
- Documenting and review detailed design
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science with 1-2 years experience in the field of software development
- Knowledge of Web application development.
- Knowledge of Java EE/Spring, JavaScript, HTML
- Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle/MS SQL
- Good knowledge of software development and object-oriented design fundamentals
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap or ReactJS
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
