Job description:
Emerson is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- BE/BTech, ME/MTech in Electronics/Electronics and communication / Instrumentation
- 0 – 6 months of embedded firmware development experience
- Good work experience in C and C++ programming is a must
- Good knowledge of using RTOS is a must
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, self-directed, self-learn, detail-oriented, creative problem solver
- Software Version Control tools and bug tracking system- GitSCM, GitHub, Azure DevOps in addition to ClearCase and ClearQuest
- Static code analysis knowledge: Lint, Coverity, Black Duck, C-stat or any relevant static analysis knowledge.
- Knowledge of ethernet communication: TCP/IP or socket implementation UDP, SSL, SNMP, LLDP, DHCP, NTP, PTP
- Added advantage if knowledge of Industrial communication protocol: Foundation Fieldbus, HART, HART-IP, BLE, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, Modbus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills
