element14 Electronics is conducting an internship for the post of Technical Support Engineer.
Job Summary:
To provide extended technical support and optimally identify any of the products offered by our Suppliers to our APAC customers via Email and Live chat. The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) will maximize business development opportunities.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Consistently find products based on product description
- Identify cross references to other suppliers or manufacturing part numbers
- Identify exact or recommended substitutes for obsolete or non-franchised parts
- Locate and provide data sheets or other application material
- Ability to offer associated product recommendations per customer design requirements
- Ability to recommend products based on functional requirements or key parameters
- Ability to offer technical advice on the key applications of products.
- Interacts with product management, suppliers, marketing and sales management to
- identify future product trends and provide strategic direction for future products/technical roadmaps.
Skills required:
- Able to communicate and interact effectively
- Good knowledge about electronics semiconductor components and packaging details will be added as advantage.
- Should have good MS office knowledge to work with.
Qualifications and experience required:
Fresher from Electronics Engineering / Diploma in Electronics and communication
Logistical Requirements:
Must be able to work in the Farnell Bangalore office
