Job description:
Ingersoll Rand is conducting an interview for the post of Embedded Test Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Should perform Manual Test Case execution to Test Compressor application.
- Should develop Python based Test Automation scripts development to Test Compressor application.
- Understanding complex processors (Microcontrollers, ARM processors)
- Embedded system peripherals validation such as ADC, DAC, DIO, UART, and Ethernet.
- Performance and endurance test script development.
- Identify and log the defects in bug tracking system.
- Supporting with Electrical Troubleshooting for Simulators & fixing (If required) the Wiring.
- This role is responsible for assuring software product quality through testing and inspection for consistency, accuracy, and overall performance
Qualification and experience requirement:
B.E/ B.Tech /M.Tech/ M.E with specialization Electronics & Communications or Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Mandatory skills:
- Good knowledge about coding using Python for Automation script development.
- Knowledge and hands on with embedded products testing.
- Responsible for Developing Automation Framework
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of different communication protocol(Ethernet, Serial UART,Modbus)
- Using digital oscilloscopes and test/measurement equipment.
- Develop scripts for performance and Endurance tests.
- Jenkins job and multi-configuration project to trigger execution
